Civil Laborer, Belgrade, MT

Central is seeking a dedicated civil laborer to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the excavation industry. As a Laborer you will work closely with experienced crew members to assist in various tasks related to pipeline installation, site preparation, and general labor duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and repair of pipelines and drainage systems under the supervision of seasoned professionals.
  • Learn to read blue prints, work with grade rod's, and calculate slopes.
  • Learn to operate GPS systems and a variety of hand tools, power tools, and small equipment used in excavation work.
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipes, backfilling excavations, and compacting soil.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Prior experience in a similar field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of a construction project, climb ladders for heights of up to 20 feet, crawl for distances of 50 feet, and lifting of heavy materials.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
